Contemporary technologies in design, architecture, art and culture
In 2023, announced by the European Commission as the “European Year of Skills” and within the “Days of Science – 2023″ in the Technical University of Sofia, the Department of “Engineering Design” at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is the host and organizer of the conference “D etc. – Modern technologies in design, architecture, art and culture”.
For ten years, the department and specialty “Engineering Design” has been the host and co-organizer of a conference dedicated to contemporary technologies in the field of cultural and historical heritage. In its eleventh year, the forum we host has expanded its scope.
On November 16 and 17, 2023. the professors and students of the department and specialty “Engineering Design” host a scientific conference, which becomes an intersection point for free and creatively charged minds with interests in a wide range of fields – engineering sciences, ergonomics, design, architecture, arts, culture etc. That’s why we called the conference “D etc.” or “Design etc.”
